Decent dining facilities but limited hours.

The noise was unbearable. The walls are paper thin, and I could hear every conversation in the hallway. Being next to the reception was the worst choice, as I was constantly disturbed. Also, the common area lacked an adequate tea or coffee station after hours, which is frustrating when you just want a warm drink in the evening.

what a shame. my room was right by reception, so I could hear every late-night reveler stomping in. also, I found it terribly inconsiderate that there was no complimentary coffee in the morning, after enduring so much noise. I almost thought of leaving a good review, but I just couldn't! absoluteley disappointing experience.

The location of Pension Alemana couldn't have been better – just a short walk to La Concha beach made my mornings so enjoyable. I appreciated the cleanliness in my room. housekeeping did a fantastic job making sure everything was tidy every day. Comfortably sized beds with nice pillows made it easy to relax after a long day exploring the city. However, the noise level was a real issue. It was just a prime choice for a concise stay in San Sebastian with great value for the money. I really liked that I could check in online and my room was ready before arrival. Make sure to check if your room has the amenities you want.
